Description
Presented by Heart, Body & Soul

Join us on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Weeksville Heritage Center for our third installment of The Black Man's Health Festival, proudly presented by Heart, Body & Soul, a Brooklyn-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Black men in underserved communities.

From 10 AM to 4 PM, immerse yourself in a day filled with empowering activities to celebrate and uplift Black men while addressing important health issues. Work up a sweat, while having fun with the Soca Run Festival Warm-Up, experience massage therapy, acupuncture & more in the Wellness Lounge, freshen up in the Self Care Lounge (providing cesars or fades along with loc retwists and dry manicures), and discover inner peace through yoga and breathwork. There will be thought-provoking panel discussions, light bites, healthy drinks and live DJ sets throughout the day.

We are proud to work with the following community partners to make this event a success: Nike, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, CCNY - MSK Partnership for Cancer Research, Research Education & Community, Soca Run Festival, WhereItzAt Magazine, Brooklyn Tea, Urban Asanas, MediRootz, Life Wellness Center, Wall Street Alphas, Men at Work Healing, Aunts et Uncles, Platinum Cuts, Inc., Prostate Health Matters, AfroPink, FDNY, Weill Cornell Medical Meyer, MediRootz, MetroPlusHealth, Thando Kafele, Prostate Health Matters, Eloira Michelle, Mackina Cafe, and BK Reader. Together, let's empower Black men to prioritize their health and become leaders in transforming the health of Black men across the country.
